James K. Galbraith
James K. Galbraith is an economist who has served in several positions on the staff of the U.S. Congress, including Executive Director of the Joint Economic Committee. He is a professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, a Senior Scholar of the Levy Economics Institute, and Chair of the Board of Economists for Peace and Security. In this interview, says all the hype surrounding a double-dip recession is just a red herring. He tells us we should be more afraid of the cuts that are closing nursing homes and making seniors homeless.
